In the second hall of the Crown's dungeon the party found a statue on a stiff rotating dais. Dravencoles threw his weight against it and set it spinning. Looking around, they turned up a note pointing to Lirielle's dreams, a cryptic journal hinting at a "second door", and, past a corridor of arrow traps that Dravencoles barely danced clear of, a stone tablet and a pair of linked mirrors. Lirielle cracked the statue puzzle by lying down to sleep and calling her recurring dream back. Then, she told the party to turn the statue's gaze to the bird, the snake, and the owl.
Beyond the first set of doors, the tablet opened a tomb to the right. Momeline laid it on a sarcophagus at the end of the hall and a Mummy Lord rose. The fight was brutal, and a curse sealed Momeline's and Dravencoles's wounds against all healing. Landor's sunblade carved into the mummy while Lirielle and Ferinthria tore it apart with lightning. Behind the sarcophagus Landor shook with excitement over a plain clay jug, an Alchemy Jug, a fine replacement for the Decanter of Endless Water he had lost in the sinking tower.
The last door answered to no key, only to language. They pieced out the dead Khaladi script letter by letter until Lirielle spoke the word aloud, meshad, and the wall swung open. Among the mummies beyond, she raised one of the dead to turn on its fellow. Past them lay Shahzir's throne. Its power shoved Landor away when he tried it, but when Lirielle sat and set the Crown on her brow, she simply vanished.
The floor fell away beneath the others, the whole world crumbling into open stars until they stood in the Temple of Seers. On a narrow bridge an unseen thing shoved at them. Landor and Momeline Misty Stepped across, and Dravencoles snared the invisible stalker with a rope and, against all reason, hauled it off the span and into the stars. The next tier hid gelatinous cubes in its very doorways. Momeline was swallowed again and again and squirmed free each time (waving off Landor's offer of mayonnaise from the jug), and Ferinthria, half-dissolved inside one, somehow walked straight out.

At the summit a Cyclops Oracle sat on a rug, waiting. When the party approached, it attacked, hammering the still-cursed Dravencoles and Momeline. Fortune kept bending their way, though: an arrow Momeline loosed wide curved back into the Oracle's eye, and a sphere of acid burst across it from nowhere. When Dravencoles brought the Hammer of Elandria down in a final smite, he felt the thing's true nature, it was the Crown, and Lirielle was inside it. The Oracle broke apart into wind and blue light and poured into Lirielle, who had been deep in the crown's vision all along, making choices of the past and the present in their trial. She opened her eyes fully attuned to the Crown of Judgement.
