Description

Nadira is a young human woman with dark curls tied back from a heart-shaped face, dressed in the plain, practical clothes of the city's working folk. Lately there are shadows under her eyes and a wary set to her jaw that were not there a season ago.

Personality

Brave, tender, and quietly stubborn. She loves fiercely and hides it poorly, and she would sooner risk everything than let someone she loves be thrown away like refuse.

Background

Nadira grew up behind the bar of her father Sadiq's tavern, The Bountiful Oasis, in the city center of Khasim's Crown. She fell for Tomas during the party's early nights there and kept seeing him after they moved on. She has enough lay healing and divine training to mend a patron, but no standing with the city's sanctioned clerics.

When the Senate hanged Mama's smuggled at the city gate, Tomas among them, Nadira cut him down within moments and cast gentle repose on his body. He is dead but preserved. She cannot take him to the city clerics: they would refuse to raise an outsider and report her for sheltering one. So she hides him and waits, hoping for another way.
