Description
A soft, round-shouldered Khaladi man in his forties who sweats in any weather and smiles like it is the only tool he has. Thinning oiled hair combed hard across a widening scalp, ink permanently under the fingernails, and a good coat gone shiny at the cuffs from being worn every day for six years. He talks quickly, warmly, and always slightly too much.
Story
Hazim ran the book on the Senate Trial from an office off the Colosseum. He took Landor's wager on the party at fifty to one and paid it out with a smile, which bought Landor a sunblade and a decanter. Being escorted from the grounds, Landor bet him again that the party would be back. Hazim offered a thousand to one, took the coin, and smiled again.
The party came back.
When Landor and Momeline went to collect in Session 45 - Traps and Temples, the office was shuttered with a sign reading off for Fall holidays, and behind the lock it was empty. He had cleared it out to the walls and gone.
